Welcome to the website of UCY LExEcon, the Laboratory for Experimental Economics of University of Cyprus. The lab was founded in 2016 and aims to the production of high-quality research output in a cutting-edge sector of economic science. Conducting laboratory experiments in economics allows the testing and verification of theoretical results in controlled environments. This type of analysis provides empirical confirmation both to theoretical discoveries and to behavioral patterns that are observed empirically. The research interests of the members of UCY LExEcon focus on the study of the process of decision making, with emphasis in situations where there is human interaction. Moreover, they are interested in the analysis of behavioral patterns that arise in different environments.
